Schecter positioned the C-6 Deluxe as an entry point into their bolt-on double-cutaway line, built in Indonesia and finished in Satin Purple. The model carried Schecter's own hardware throughout and was designed to deliver a familiar, player-friendly platform at a modest tier of the catalogue.
The basswood body features a flat top with a bevel edge and accepts a Tune-O-Matic bridge with string-through-body stringing. The maple neck is bolt-on, shaped to Schecter's Thin 'C' profile — measuring .787" at the first fret and .866" at the twelfth — and carries a rosewood fretboard with 4mm dot inlays, a 14" radius, and 24 narrow X-Jumbo frets. The graphite nut measures 1.653" (42mm) wide and the scale runs 25.5" (648mm). Both bridge and neck positions are loaded with Schecter Diamond Plus pickups, routed through a Volume/Tone/3-Way Switch arrangement with metal knurled knobs. Tuning machines are Schecter-branded, and all hardware is finished in chrome. A 2-way adjustable truss rod is accessed via a 5/32" (4mm) Allen nut. The guitar ships with .010–.046 strings; a case (SGR-1C) was sold separately.
Owners sourcing replacement parts should note that the Tune-O-Matic bridge accepts standard TOM-pattern saddles and posts, the 42mm nut width accommodates commonly available graphite blanks, and the 25.5" scale is compatible with widely stocked string sets.
