Schecter positioned the C-6 Deluxe as an entry-level six-string in its C-series line, built in Indonesia with a bolt-on maple neck joined to a basswood body featuring a flat top with bevel edge. The guitar carried the Thin 'C' neck profile and was equipped with a graphite nut, chrome hardware throughout, and Schecter-branded tuners.
The 25.5" (648mm) scale rosewood fretboard runs 24 narrow X-jumbo frets at a 14" (355mm) radius, with 4mm dot inlays. The nut width measures 1.653" (42mm). Neck thickness is .787" (20mm) at the first fret and .866" (22mm) at the twelfth. A two-way adjustable truss rod is accessed via a 5/32" (4mm) Allen nut. The bridge is a tune-o-matic with string-through-body anchoring, and both the bridge and neck positions carry Schecter Diamond Plus pickups. Controls consist of a volume knob, a tone knob, and a three-way toggle switch, all with metal knurled knobs secured by set screws. The instrument shipped strung with .010–.046 gauge strings.
Owners sourcing replacement parts should note that the tune-o-matic bridge accepts standard tune-o-matic saddles and posts, and the 42mm nut width is a useful reference when sourcing a replacement graphite or bone nut. For truss rod adjustments, intonation work, or fret maintenance, consult a qualified guitar technician.
STRAIGHT TALK
What Stands Out
Keep In Mind
From the people who own them
Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.
Owner photos
Put yours on the record.
The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.
What do you know about this one?
Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
