Schecter positioned the C-6 Deluxe as an entry point into their bolt-on solid-body electric line, built in Indonesia with a basswood body and a maple neck joining it via bolt-on construction. The model carried a flat top with a bevel edge and was finished in Satin Aqua with chrome hardware throughout.
The neck ran a Thin 'C' profile measuring .787" at the first fret and .866" at the twelfth, topped with a rosewood fretboard carrying 4mm dot inlays. The 25.5" scale length accommodated 24 narrow X-jumbo frets over a 14" radius board. Nut width measured 1.653" (42mm) with a graphite nut, and the truss rod was a two-way adjustable unit accessed via a 5/32" Allen key. Schecter-branded tuners handled stringing, and the factory gauge ran .010–.046. Pickups were Schecter Diamond Plus humbuckers at both neck and bridge positions, routed through a volume control, a tone control, and a three-way toggle switch, with metal knurled set-screw knobs. The bridge was a tune-o-matic with string-through-body anchoring. The SGR-1C case was sold separately.
Owners sourcing replacement parts should note that the tune-o-matic bridge accepts standard tune-o-matic saddles and posts, and the 42mm graphite nut is a common width compatible with many aftermarket blanks. For setup adjustments, intonation work, or fret service, consult a qualified guitar technician.
