Schecter built the Riot-4 Session LH as a left-handed four-string bass positioned within the Riot Session line, constructed in South Korea using a bolt-on neck joint. The instrument carried a Swamp Ash body finished in Aged Natural Satin, paired with a Maple neck and Maple fretboard featuring Ebony Side Block inlays.
The bass ran a 34-inch scale across 24 Narrow X-Jumbo frets on a 12-inch radius board. Nut duties were handled by a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq unit at 1.496 inches wide, and the neck profile was a C-shape measuring .826 inches at the first fret and .905 inches at the twelfth. Pickups were an EMG 35DC at the bridge and an EMG 35J at the neck, driven through an 18-volt battery compartment and controlled via Master Volume, Blend, and a 3-Band EMG Active EQ. The Schecter Custom Bass bridge accepted both string-through and top-load stringing. All hardware appeared in black, including Metal Knurled knobs secured with set screws. Schecter tuners completed the hardware complement. The instrument was strung from the factory with Ernie Ball 4 String Super Long #2849 (.045–.105).
Owners seeking setup adjustments — including truss rod work via the 5/32-inch Allen nut or nut replacement — should consult a qualified bass technician; the Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut and the string-through bridge both accept widely available compatible components.
