Schecter built the Stiletto-5 Session LH as a left-handed, five-string electric bass positioned within the Stiletto Session line. Assembled in South Korea, it featured a bolt-on construction with a swamp ash body, a maple neck in a C-profile, and a maple fretboard carrying ebony side block inlays across 24 narrow extra-jumbo frets. The flat-top body and aged natural satin finish left the wood grain visible without a high-gloss surface.
Electronics centred on an EMG 40DC bridge pickup and an EMG 40J neck pickup, driven by an 18-volt active circuit with a dedicated screw-plate battery compartment. The control layout ran master volume, a blend control, and a three-band EMG active EQ. Hardware throughout was finished in black, including the Schecter Custom Bass bridge — configurable for either string-through or top-load stringing — Schecter tuners, and metal knurled knobs with set screws. The Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut measured 1.771 inches (45mm) wide, accommodating the five-string 35-inch (889mm) extra-long scale. The two-way adjustable truss rod is accessed with a 5/32-inch (4mm) Allen key. Factory string gauges were Ernie Ball 5 String Super Long #2850, running .045–.130.
