Schecter positioned the Stiletto-4 Session LH within its Stiletto bass line as a left-handed bolt-on instrument built around an active electronics platform. The Session designation indicated a configuration oriented toward studio and live versatility, finished here in Aged Natural Satin and produced in South Korea.
The body was constructed from Swamp Ash with a flat top and joined to a Maple neck via bolt-on construction. The Maple fretboard carried 24 Narrow X-Jumbo frets over a 12" (305mm) radius and a 34" (863mm) scale length, with Ebony Side Block inlays. The nut was a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq unit at 1.496" (38mm) width, and the neck profile was a C-shape measuring .826" (21mm) at the first fret and .905" (23mm) at the twelfth. A 2-Way Adjustable truss rod was accessible via a 5/32" (4mm) Allen nut. Electronics consisted of an EMG 35DC bridge pickup and an EMG 35J neck pickup, powered by an 18-volt battery system housed behind a screw-plate compartment, with controls comprising Master Volume, Blend, and a 3-Band EMG Active EQ. The Schecter Custom Bass bridge offered both string-through-body and top-load stringing options. All hardware was finished in black.
