Schecter built the Stiletto-4 Session as a four-string electric bass within its Stiletto Session series, positioning it as a bolt-on instrument strung through the body or loaded from the top. The bass was manufactured in South Korea and finished in Aged Natural Satin, which leaves the Swamp Ash body's grain character visible under the matte surface.
The neck and fretboard are both Maple, shaped to a C profile and measuring .826" (21mm) at the first fret and .905" (23mm) at the twelfth. Twenty-four Narrow X-Jumbo frets sit across a 12" (305mm) radius board, marked with Ebony Side Block inlays. A Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut at 1.496" (38mm) width feeds into a 34" (863mm) scale. The truss rod is a two-way adjustable unit adjusted via a 5/32" (4mm) Allen key. Electronics are an active configuration: an EMG 35J at the neck and an EMG 35DC at the bridge, controlled by a master volume, a blend, and a three-band EMG active EQ. The 18-volt battery compartment is secured with a screw plate. All hardware — including the Schecter Custom Bass String-Thru/Top Load bridge, Schecter tuners, and metal knurled knobs with set screws — is finished in black. Schecter shipped the bass strung with Ernie Ball 4 String Super Long #2849 (.045–.105).
Owners sourcing replacement parts — including the Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut, EMG 35-series pickups, or compatible string-through bridge saddles — or needing setup work on the two-way truss rod should consult a qualified bass technician or luthier for guidance.
