Schecter built the Model-T Session LH as a left-handed variant within its Model-T bass line, positioning the instrument as a bolt-on, swamp ash–bodied electric bass with active electronics. It was manufactured in South Korea and finished in Aged Natural Satin.
The bass is strung for four strings and runs a 34-inch scale on a maple neck with a Thin 'C' profile, measuring .826" at the first fret and .905" at the twelfth. The maple fretboard carries 22 narrow X-Jumbo frets at a 12" radius, with ebony side block markers and a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut set at 1.653" (42mm). Tuning is handled by Grover Vintage Bass 142 Series machines. The pickup configuration pairs an EMG P at the neck with an EMG J at the bridge, routed through a master volume, blend control, and a 2-band EMG active EQ drawing from an 18-volt battery compartment with a screw plate. All hardware is finished in black. The Schecter Custom Bass bridge accepts both string-through-body and top-load stringing. Controls use metal knurled knobs with set screws.
