Schecter positioned the Stiletto Studio-6 as a high-specification six-string electric bass within the Stiletto line, built in South Korea to a neck-through construction standard with Ultra Access heel shaping. The instrument carried a mahogany body with a flamed maple top, finished here in See-Thru Black Satin, and a multi-ply maple and walnut neck reinforced with carbon fiber rods running its full length.
The neck profile is a Thin 'C', measuring .787" at the first fret and .866" at the twelfth, set over a 16" radius rosewood fretboard with 24 X-Jumbo frets and abalone offset dot inlays. The nut is a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq at 2.125" width, and dual two-way adjustable truss rods provide independent relief control. The 35" scale drives Ernie Ball 6-String Super Long strings (.032–.130) through a Diamond Custom Bass bridge. Electronics consist of a pair of EMG 45HZ pickups wired to a master volume, blend control, and a three-band EMG active EQ, powered by an 18-volt battery system accessed via a screw-plate compartment. All hardware is finished in black chrome, and tuning is handled by Schecter-branded tuners.
