Schecter built the Stiletto Custom-4 LH as a left-handed variant of the Stiletto Custom-4 bass, positioning it within the Stiletto series as a mid-tier active instrument with a multi-species neck and active electronics. The left-handed configuration was offered in Natural Satin finish, making the figured top visible without a gloss coat.
The bass featured a mahogany body with a flamed maple and walnut top, finished flat with no contour carving. The neck was a multi-ply maple and walnut construction, bolted on with a 6-bolt joint, and carried a rosewood fretboard with pearloid offset dot inlays. Twenty-four X-jumbo frets were set over a 16-inch radius board, with a 34-inch scale and a 1.496-inch nut width — the Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut accommodating the Ernie Ball Super Long 4-string set (.045–.105) that shipped with the instrument. The thin 'C' neck profile measured .787 inches at the first fret and .866 inches at the twelfth. Electronics consisted of two EMG 35HZ pickups routed through a master volume, a blend control, and a 2-band EMG active EQ, powered by a 9-volt battery in a clip-in compartment. Hardware throughout was satin gold, including the S-Tek bridge and Schecter tuners. Truss rod adjustment used a 5/32-inch Allen key.
