Schecter positioned the Stiletto Stealth-5 as a five-string electric bass within its Stiletto Stealth series, finished in Satin Black and produced in Indonesia. The instrument was built around a bolt-on construction secured by a six-bolt joint, pairing a basswood body with a maple neck profiled in a Thin 'C' shape.
The 35-inch scale — longer than a standard bass — was paired with a rosewood fretboard carrying 24 X-Jumbo frets at a 16-inch radius, and a 1.771-inch (45mm) nut width accommodating the five-string spread. The nut itself is a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq unit. Fretboard inlays are Grey Pearloid Dots. Hardware runs entirely in black, including Metal Knurled knobs with set screws and an S-Tek bridge. The pickup configuration combines a Schecter Diamond SuperRock MM at the bridge with a Schecter Diamond P at the neck, feeding an active 2-Band EQ circuit — controlled via Master Volume, Blend, and EQ knobs — powered by a 9-volt battery housed in a dedicated clip-in compartment. Tuners are Schecter-branded. The neck carries a 2-way adjustable truss rod adjusted via a 5/32-inch (4mm) Allen nut. Factory strings were Ernie Ball 5 String Super Long #2850 (.045–.130). The flat-top body is right-handed only.
