Schecter positioned the Stiletto Stealth-4 as a dedicated four-string electric bass within its Stiletto series, built in Indonesia with a basswood body and a bolt-on maple neck secured by six bolts. The instrument carried a satin black finish across its hardware, with all-black appointments throughout.
The neck featured a Thin 'C' profile measuring .787" at the first fret and .866" at the twelfth, topped with a 24 X-Jumbo fret rosewood fretboard running a 16" radius over a 34" scale. A Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut at 1.496" width anchored the top end, while a two-way adjustable truss rod with a 5/32" allen nut allowed neck relief adjustment. The electronics package combined a Schecter Diamond P neck pickup with a Schecter Diamond SuperRock MM bridge pickup, routed through an active two-band EQ with master volume, blend, and EQ controls — powered by a clip-in 9-volt battery. Grey pearloid dot inlays marked the rosewood board, metal knurled knobs with set screws managed the controls, and the bass shipped strung with Ernie Ball 4 String Super Long #2849 (.045–.105) strings.
