Schecter built the Stiletto Extreme-4 LH as a left-handed variant within its Stiletto Extreme series, positioning it as an active four-string bass with an emphasis on fast playability and aggressive tonal character. The model carried item number 2507 and was finished in Black Cherry.
Construction followed a bolt-on neck joint, pairing a mahogany body with a quilted maple top and creme 1-ply binding. The maple neck was profiled in a Thin 'C' shape, measuring .787" (20mm) at the first fret and .866" (22mm) at the twelfth, and was topped with a rosewood fretboard carrying 24 X-Jumbo frets at a 16" (406mm) radius. Pearloid and abalone vector inlays marked the positions. The nut was a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq unit at 1.496" (38mm) wide, and the truss rod was a two-way adjustable design accessed via a 5/32" (4mm) Allen nut. The 34" (863mm) scale ran to a Diamond Bass bridge finished in black chrome. Both neck and bridge positions housed Schecter Diamond Bass pickups, fed through a master volume, blend, and active 2-band EQ circuit drawing from a 9-volt clip-in battery compartment. Schecter tuners and metal knurled knobs with set screws completed the hardware complement. The instrument shipped strung with Ernie Ball 4-String Super Long #2849 (.045–.105).
