Schecter positioned the Omen Extreme-6 as a feature-forward entry in its Omen Extreme line, built around a mahogany body with a quilted maple arched top and a bolt-on maple neck. The 2024 production run was sourced from Indonesia and finished in Vintage Sunburst.
The neck carries a Thin 'C' profile, measuring .787" at the first fret and .866" at the twelfth, mounted to a rosewood fretboard with 24 X-Jumbo frets at a 14" radius. The 42mm Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut feeds a 25.5" scale, and the two-way adjustable truss rod is accessed with a 5/32" Allen key. Abalone and pearloid vector inlays mark the positions along the board. Hardware throughout is black chrome: the Tune-O-Matic bridge uses string-through-body anchoring, tuners are Schecter-branded, and knobs are metal knurled with set screws. Both pickup positions carry Schecter Diamond Plus humbuckers, routed through a volume/volume/tone (push-pull)/3-way switch layout. Creme multi-ply binding frames the body. The guitar shipped strung with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky .010–.046 strings.
Owners requiring neck adjustments, fret work, or bridge setup should consult a qualified guitar technician; the standard Tune-O-Matic footprint and string-through ferrule spacing accept widely available replacement hardware.
