Schecter positioned the Hellraiser Hybrid PT (item 1936) as part of its Hellraiser Hybrid series, built in South Korea. The PT designation indicates a single-cutaway platform. Construction follows a set-neck joint with Schecter's Ultra Access heel treatment, pairing a three-piece maple neck with a mahogany body and an arched top finished in Ultra Violet.
The neck carries an ebony fretboard with a 12"–16" compound radius, 24 X-Jumbo frets, and an Ultra Thin 'C' profile measuring .748" at the first fret and .787" at the twelfth. The 25.5" scale terminates at a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut (1.653" / 42mm). Electronics are entirely active: an EMG 57 at the bridge and EMG 66 at the neck, both in brushed black chrome covers, routed through a volume, tone, and three-way switch to a 9-volt clip-in battery compartment. The Hipshot Hardtail bridge accepts string-through-body stringing. Hardware throughout is black chrome, and binding is carbon fiber multi-ply. Schecter locking tuners and metal knurled set-screw knobs complete the appointment. The instrument shipped strung with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky .010–.046 (set #2221).
