Schecter positioned the Hellraiser Hybrid C-7 (item 1956) as an extended-range instrument within the Hellraiser Hybrid line, configured as a seven-string and finished in Ultra Violet. It was built in South Korea using a set-neck construction with Ultra Access heel shaping, and the body was made from mahogany with an arched top and carbon fiber multi-ply binding.
The three-piece maple neck incorporates carbon fiber reinforcement rods and carries an ebony fretboard with a 26.5" (673mm) baritone scale length and a 12"–16" compound radius. Twenty-four X-Jumbo frets sit across the board, marked with Mother of Pearl offset/reverse dot inlays and a Gothic Cross at the 12th fret; side dots are glow-in-the-dark. The nut is a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq at 1.889" (48mm) width, and the neck profile is Schecter's Ultra Thin 'C' shape, measuring .748" at the first fret and .787" at the twelfth. Electronics are active: an EMG 66-7H at the neck and an EMG 57-7H at the bridge, both in brushed black chrome covers, powered by a 9-volt clip-in battery compartment and controlled via a volume/volume/tone/3-way switch layout with metal knurled knobs. The bridge is a TonePros 7-string tune-o-matic with string-through-body anchoring, finished in black chrome alongside all other hardware. Schecter locking tuners and a 2-way adjustable truss rod with a 5/32" (4mm) allen nut complete the specification. The instrument ships with Ernie Ball 7-string gauged .009/.011/.016/.026/.036/.046/.062; a case is sold separately (SGR-1C).
