Schecter positioned the Hellraiser C-7 FR LH as a left-handed, seven-string variant within its Hellraiser series, built in South Korea with a set-neck construction featuring Ultra Access. The arched-top body combined a mahogany core with a quilted maple top, finished in Black Cherry with abalone and black/white/black multi-ply binding.
The three-piece mahogany neck carries a Thin 'C' profile and a 26.5" (673mm) baritone scale length, meeting a 24-fret rosewood fretboard with a 16" (406mm) radius and abalone Gothic Cross inlays. Frets are X-Jumbo gauge. A Floyd Rose 1000 Series bridge and Floyd Rose locking nut handle tuning stability, supported by Grover tuners and a two-way adjustable truss rod accessible via a 5/32" (4mm) Allen key. Both pickup positions carry EMG 707TW humbuckers wired to a push-pull volume/volume/tone layout with a 3-way switch, drawing power from a 9-volt clip-in battery compartment. Hardware throughout is black chrome. The nut width of 1.874" (47.6mm) and neck thickness of .787" at the first fret rising to .866" at the twelfth reflect the instrument's extended-range ergonomic intent.
