Schecter positioned the Reaper-6 FR S LH as a feature-loaded, left-handed variant within its Reaper series, built around a set-neck construction with Ultra Access and a swamp ash body topped with burl. The left-handed configuration and Satin Charcoal Burst finish were defining characteristics of this specific SKU (item number 1514), manufactured in Indonesia.
The maple/walnut multi-ply neck incorporated carbon fiber reinforcement rods and carried an ebony fretboard with 24 X-Jumbo frets at a 14" radius. The Ultra Thin 'C' profile measured .748" at the first fret and .787" at the twelfth, with a 25.5" scale and a 1.625" Floyd Rose 1500 Series locking nut. Tremolo duties were handled by a Floyd Rose 1500 Series bridge, with Schecter tuners and black-and-chrome hardware throughout. The neck pickup was a Sustainiac® driver, paired with a Schecter Diamond Decimator at the bridge; controls included a dedicated 2-way on/off Sustainiac switch and a 3-way Sustainiac mode switch (Fundamental, Mix, Harmonic), with a 9-volt clip-in battery compartment to power the system. Pearloid offset/reverse dot inlays and metal knurled knobs with set screws completed the hardware picture. The instrument shipped strung with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky .010–.046 strings; no case was included.
Owners requiring setup work, Floyd Rose 1500 Series replacement parts, or Sustainiac system service should consult a qualified guitar technician familiar with locking tremolo systems and active sustainer electronics.
STRAIGHT TALK
What Stands Out
Keep In Mind
From the people who own them
Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.
Owner photos
Put yours on the record.
The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.
What do you know about this one?
Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
