Description

Schecter positioned the Reaper-6 FR LH as a left-handed, Floyd Rose-equipped variant within its Reaper series, built around a set-neck construction with Ultra Access heel shaping. The guitar shipped in Satin Charcoal Burst with a Burl top over a Swamp Ash body, with black and chrome hardware throughout.

The neck was a multi-ply Maple and Walnut assembly reinforced with Carbon Fiber Reinforcement Rods, finished to an Ultra Thin 'C' profile measuring .748" at the first fret and .787" at the twelfth. A 14" radius Ebony fretboard carried 24 X-Jumbo frets and Pearloid Offset/Reverse Dot inlays across a 25.5" scale. Locking duties were handled at both ends by Floyd Rose 1500 Series components — the nut at 1.625" width and the bridge — with Schecter tuners completing the headstock. The two-way adjustable truss rod accepts a 5/32" Allen key. Both neck and bridge positions housed Schecter Diamond Decimator pickups, routed through a Volume, a Push-Pull Tone control, and a 3-Way Switch, with Metal Knurled knobs secured by set screws. The guitar shipped strung with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky .010–.046; a case was sold separately.

Owners sourcing replacement parts — particularly Floyd Rose 1500 Series saddles, springs, or locking nuts — or requiring truss rod adjustment should consult a qualified guitar technician familiar with double-locking tremolo systems.

From the people who own them

Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.

Put yours on the record.

The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.

What do you know about this one?

Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
