Description

Schecter positioned the Reaper-6 FR (item 1503) as a high-output, extended-performance electric guitar within its Reaper series, finished in Satin Charcoal Burst. The instrument was built in Indonesia with a set-neck construction featuring Ultra Access, pairing a swamp ash body with a burl top and a flat top with bevel edge profile.

The multi-ply maple and walnut neck incorporates carbon fiber reinforcement rods and carries an ebony fretboard with pearloid offset/reverse dot inlays. The Ultra Thin 'C' neck profile measures .748" at the first fret and .787" at the twelfth, with a 14" radius and 24 X-jumbo frets across a 25.5" scale. A Floyd Rose 1500 Series locking nut (1.625" width) and matching Floyd Rose 1500 Series bridge handle tuning stability, with Schecter tuners completing the hardware in black and chrome. Both the bridge and neck positions carry Schecter Diamond Decimator pickups, controlled via a volume knob, a push-pull tone knob, and a 3-way switch, all with metal knurled knobs secured by set screws. Strings from the factory were Ernie Ball Regular Slinky .010–.046.

Owners sourcing Floyd Rose 1500 Series replacement parts, locking nut components, or compatible strings should verify measurements against the specs above; for setup, intonation, or neck adjustment work involving the two-way truss rod, consult a qualified guitar technician.

From the people who own them

Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.

Put yours on the record.

The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.

What do you know about this one?

Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
