Schecter positioned the Reaper-6 LH as a left-handed, extended-range-ready solidbody within the Reaper series, built around a swamp ash body with a burl top and a set-neck construction featuring Ultra Access heel shaping. The instrument carried item number 1512 and was finished in Satin Charcoal Burst.
The multi-ply maple and walnut neck incorporated carbon fiber reinforcement rods and was profiled to an Ultra Thin 'C' shape, measuring .748" at the first fret and .787" at the twelfth. A 25.5" scale ebony fretboard carried 24 X-Jumbo frets at a 14" radius, with pearloid offset/reverse dot inlays. The 42mm Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut fed string tension to a Schecter Custom Hardtail bridge with string-through-body anchoring. Both pickup positions used Schecter Diamond Decimator humbucker-format pickups, controlled by a volume knob, a push-pull tone knob, and a 3-way toggle switch. Hardware was finished in black and chrome. The top contour was specified as flat with a bevel edge, and the factory string set was Ernie Ball Regular Slinky .010–.046.
