Schecter built the Reaper-7 Multiscale LH as a left-handed, seven-string multiscale instrument within its Reaper series, positioned for players requiring extended range alongside an ergonomic fanned-fret layout. The set-neck construction with Ultra Access joined a Swamp Ash body topped with Burl, finished in Satin Charcoal Burst. Country of origin was Indonesia.
The maple/walnut multi-ply neck incorporated carbon fiber reinforcement rods and carried an Ebony fretboard with a 20" (508mm) radius, 24 narrow X-Jumbo frets, and pearloid offset/reverse dot inlays. The multiscale ran from 25.5" on the treble side to 27" on the bass side (648mm–685.8mm). A graphite nut at 1.889" (48mm) width fed into Schecter tuners. The Ultra Thin 'C' profile measured .748" (19mm) at the first fret and .787" (20mm) at the twelfth. A Hipshot Hardtail bridge with string-through-body anchoring handled the low end, and both the bridge and neck positions carried Schecter Diamond Decimator pickups. Controls ran to a volume knob, a push-pull tone knob, and a 3-way switch, all fitted with metal knurled knobs secured by set screws. Hardware was finished in black and chrome. The instrument shipped strung with Ernie Ball 7-string gauges (.009/.011/.016/.026/.036/.046/.062); a case was sold separately.
