Schecter positioned the C-8 Multiscale Silver Mountain LH (item 1469) as a left-handed, eight-string multiscale instrument within its C-series line, built for players requiring extended low-end range and fanned-fret geometry. The set-neck construction with Ultra Access joined a mahogany body finished in Silver Mountain, with a one-ply black binding at the edges. Country of origin was South Korea.
The three-piece mahogany neck, reinforced with carbon fiber rods, carried an ebony fretboard with a 25.5"–27" fanned scale length, a 20" radius, and 24 X-jumbo stainless steel frets. The Thin 'C' profile measured .787" at the first fret and .866" at the twelfth. The 2.125" graphite nut and Schecter locking tuners addressed tuning stability across the extended range; side dots used Luminlay glow-in-the-dark material, and fretboard inlays were lines. Electronics comprised two Schecter USA Sonic Seducer pickups routed through a volume/volume/tone (push-pull)/3-way switch layout with metal knurled set-screw knobs, all hardware in black. The Hipshot Hardtail bridge (.125) featured string-through-body stringing. Factory strings were Ernie Ball 8-String Skinny Top Heavy Bottom #2624 (.009–.080). The arched top contour completed the body detail. A case was sold separately (SGR-UNIVERSAL GUITAR).
