Schecter positioned the C-7 Multiscale Silver Mountain LH within its extended-range electric guitar line as a left-handed, seven-string instrument built around a fanned-fret multiscale configuration. The set-neck construction with Ultra Access joined a mahogany body finished in Silver Mountain, with black single-ply binding and an arched top contour. Country of origin was South Korea.
The three-piece mahogany neck incorporated carbon fiber reinforcement rods and carried an ebony fretboard with 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets, a 16" (406mm) radius, and line inlays complemented by Luminlay glow-in-the-dark side dots. The fanned scale ran from 25.5" at the high-string end to 27" at the low, accommodating the Ernie Ball seven-string factory set (.009/.011/.016/.026/.036/.046/.062). A graphite nut at 1.889" (48mm) width, a two-way adjustable truss rod, and Schecter locking tuners completed the neck assembly. Hardware throughout was finished in black. The Hipshot Hardtail bridge used string-through-body anchoring, and both bridge and neck positions carried Schecter USA Sonic Seducer™ humbuckers, controlled via individual volume knobs, a push-pull tone, and a three-way switch — all with metal knurled knobs secured by set screws.
