Schecter positioned the C-1 FR S Silver Mountain LH as a high-specification left-handed electric guitar within the C-1 series, built in South Korea. The model combined a set-neck construction with Ultra Access and a Sustainiac pickup system, placing it toward the upper tier of Schecter's production-line offerings for players requiring extended sustain and a Floyd Rose-equipped platform.
The mahogany body features an arched top and black single-ply binding, paired with a three-piece mahogany neck reinforced with carbon fiber rods and shaped to a Thin 'C' profile measuring .787" at the first fret and .866" at the twelfth. The ebony fretboard runs 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets across a 14" radius at a 25.5" scale, with Lines inlays and Luminlay glow-in-the-dark side dot markers. The Floyd Rose 1500 Series bridge and nut handle vibrato duties, while Grover Rotomatic 18:1 tuners manage pitch at the headstock. Pickups consist of a Schecter USA Sonic Seducer at the bridge and a Sustainiac unit at the neck, with the control layout providing Volume, Tone, and Intensity knobs alongside a 3-way pickup switch, a 2-way Sustainiac on/off switch, and a 3-way Sustainiac mode switch covering Fundamental, Mix, and Harmonic modes. The system draws power from a 9-volt clip-in battery compartment. All hardware is finished in black, and the nut width measures 1.625" (41.3mm).
Owners researching Floyd Rose 1500 Series replacement parts, Sustainiac system servicing, or stainless fret work should consult a qualified guitar technician familiar with double-locking tremolo systems and active pickup electronics.
STRAIGHT TALK
What Stands Out
Keep In Mind
From the people who own them
Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.
Owner photos
Put yours on the record.
The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.
What do you know about this one?
Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
