Schecter positioned the C-1 FR S Silver Mountain within its high-specification C-1 series, building it around a set-neck mahogany body with an arched top and black single-ply binding. The construction used a set-neck joint with Ultra Access heel contouring, and the three-piece mahogany neck incorporated carbon fiber reinforcement rods for added rigidity along its length.
The ebony fretboard carried 24 X-jumbo stainless steel frets on a 14-inch radius, with a Thin 'C' profile measuring .787 inches at the first fret and .866 inches at the twelfth. Luminlay glow-in-the-dark side dot markers ran the length of the board. The nut was a Floyd Rose 1500 Series unit at 1.625 inches wide, feeding a Floyd Rose 1500 Series bridge — both finished in black hardware matching the rest of the appointments. Grover Rotomatic 18:1 tuners anchored the headstock. The pickup configuration paired a Schecter USA Sonic Seducer humbucker at the bridge with a Sustainiac driver at the neck; the Sustainiac system required a 9-volt battery housed in a dedicated clip-in compartment and was governed by a two-way on/off switch and a three-way mode switch selecting between Fundamental, Mix, and Harmonic modes. The full control layout added Volume, Tone, and Intensity knobs — all metal knurled with set screws — alongside a three-way pickup selector. Schecter specified Ernie Ball Regular Slinky strings (.010–.046) from the factory.
