Schecter positioned the C-1 SLS Evil Twin (item 1347) within its high-specification SLS (Super Lightweight Series) line, finished in Satin Black. The guitar was built in South Korea with a neck-thru-body construction featuring Ultra Access and a swamp ash body with an arched top and ivory 1-ply binding. The multi-ply maple, walnut, and padauk neck incorporates carbon fiber reinforcement rods and carries a 2-way adjustable truss rod with heel-access spoke wheel.
The 25.5" scale ebony fretboard runs 24 X-jumbo stainless steel frets over a 12"–16" compound radius, with Roman numeral inlays and glow-in-the-dark side dot markers. Nut duties are handled by an Ernie Ball Compensated Nut at 1.653" (42mm) width, with Schecter locking tuners at the headstock. The Hipshot Hardtail bridge (.125) uses string-thru-body stringing. Electronics are dual Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers — a ceramic-magnet unit at the bridge and an alnico-magnet unit at the neck — each passive-switchable via push-pull controls on the volume and tone knobs, with a 9-volt clip-in battery compartment. A 3-way switch and metal knurled set-screw knobs complete the control layout. Hardware throughout is finished in black. The guitar ships strung with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky .010–.046 strings; a case is sold separately.
Owners requiring setup adjustments, fret work, or assistance sourcing compatible replacement hardware — including Hipshot Hardtail saddles, Fishman Fluence battery harnesses, or Ernie Ball Compensated Nut blanks — should consult a qualified guitar technician.
STRAIGHT TALK
What Stands Out
Keep In Mind
From the people who own them
Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.
Owner photos
Put yours on the record.
The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.
What do you know about this one?
Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
