Schecter positioned the PT SLS Evil Twin (item 1342) as a high-specification, neck-through solidbody electric within their SLS (Superior Lightweight Series) line, finished in Satin Black and built in South Korea. The model carried an arched top body of swamp ash with neck-through construction incorporating Ultra Access, and a multi-ply maple, walnut, and padauk neck reinforced with carbon fiber rods.
The ebony fretboard ran 24 X-jumbo stainless steel frets over a 25.5" (648mm) scale with a 12"–16" compound radius, an Ultra Thin 'C' profile measuring .748" (19mm) at the first fret and .787" (20mm) at the twelfth, and an Ernie Ball Compensated Nut at 1.653" (42mm) width. Roman numeral inlays and glow-in-the-dark side dots distinguished the board visually. A Hipshot Hardtail bridge with string-through-body anchoring sat at the tail end, paired with Schecter locking tuners and all-black hardware. The pickup complement comprised a Fishman Fluence Modern ceramic-magnet humbucker at the bridge and a Fishman Fluence Modern alnico-magnet humbucker at the neck — both active designs drawing from a 9-volt clip-in battery compartment. A push-pull volume control, push-pull tone control, and 3-way switch provided switching options. Ivory single-ply binding finished the body edges, and the neck featured a heel-access spoke-wheel truss rod adjustment. Strings were factory-fitted with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky (.010–.046).
