Schecter positioned the V-1 Apocalypse LH as a left-handed variant within its Apocalypse series, built around a set-neck construction with Ultra Access and a swamp ash body finished in Red Reign. The guitar carried satin black hardware throughout and a flat top profile.
The multi-ply maple and padauk neck incorporated carbon fiber reinforcement rods and was cut to a Thin 'C' profile, measuring .787" at the first fret and .866" at the twelfth. A 25.5" scale ebony fretboard with a 12"-16" compound radius hosted 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets, Roman numeral inlays, and glow-in-the-dark side dot markers. The Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut measured 1.653" wide. A TonePros T3BT tune-o-matic bridge paired with a T1Z tailpiece anchored the strings, with a 2-way adjustable truss rod accessible via a 5/32" Allen nut. Both pickup positions carried Schecter USA Apocalypse-VI™ humbuckers, controlled by a volume knob, a push-pull tone knob, and a 3-way switch, all fitted with Hipshot O-Ring knobs. Schecter locking tuners completed the hardware complement. The instrument shipped strung with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky .010–.046 strings; the SGR-8V case was sold separately.
