Schecter positioned the Solo-II FR Apocalypse Red Reign LH within its high-specification Apocalypse series, building it as a left-handed set-neck electric guitar with a swamp ash body, arched top, and black 1-ply binding. The Ultra Access heel construction was fitted to ease upper-register reach, and the finish was Red Reign with satin black hardware throughout.
The neck is a multi-ply maple and padauk construction with carbon fiber reinforcement rods and a thin 'C' profile, measuring .787" at the first fret and .866" at the twelfth. The ebony fretboard carries 22 X-jumbo stainless steel frets over a 12"-16" compound radius, with Roman numeral inlays and glow-in-the-dark side dot markers. A Floyd Rose 1500 Series bridge and locking nut — 1.625" wide — handle tuning stability, while Grover Rotomatic 18:1 tuners are fitted at the headstock. Both pickup positions carry Schecter USA Apocalypse-VI™ humbuckers, controlled via a volume/volume/tone (push-pull) layout and a 3-way switch. The tone pot's push-pull function and metal knurled knobs with set screws complete the control complement. The instrument was strung from the factory with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky .010–.046.
