Schecter positioned the V-1 Apocalypse in its high-specification electric guitar line, built in South Korea with a set-neck construction featuring Ultra Access. The body is Swamp Ash with a flat top and black 1-ply binding, finished in Red Reign with satin black hardware throughout.
The neck is a multi-ply Maple and Padauk laminate reinforced with carbon fiber rods, shaped to a Thin 'C' profile measuring .787" at the first fret and .866" at the twelfth. It carries a 25.5" scale ebony fretboard with a 12"-16" compound radius, 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets, Roman numeral inlays, and glow-in-the-dark side dot markers. The nut is a Graph Tech XL Black Tusq at 1.653" width, paired with a 2-way adjustable truss rod. Tuning is handled by Schecter locking tuners. The bridge is a TonePros T3BT tune-o-matic with T1Z tailpiece. Both pickup positions carry Schecter USA Apocalypse-VI™ humbuckers, controlled by a volume, a push-pull tone, and a 3-way switch, with Hipshot O-Ring knobs. Strings are factory-fitted with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky .010–.046. The case (SGR-8V) is sold separately.
