Description

Schecter built the V-1 Apocalypse FR LH as a left-handed entry in their Apocalypse series, constructed with a set-neck through Ultra Access joint and a flat-top swamp ash body finished in Red Reign. The model was positioned around high-output active-voiced performance, carrying the Apocalypse-VI™ branding on both pickup positions.

The multi-ply maple and padauk neck incorporates carbon fiber reinforcement rods and is profiled in a Thin 'C' contour, measuring .787" at the first fret and .866" at the twelfth. It carries a 25.5" scale length across a 12"-16" compound-radius ebony fretboard fitted with 24 X-jumbo stainless steel frets and Roman numeral inlays; side dots are glow-in-the-dark. Locking duties fall to a Floyd Rose 1500 Series nut at 1.625" width and a Floyd Rose 1500 Series bridge, both in satin black hardware. Tuning is handled by Grover Rotomatic 18:1 machines. The control layout runs Volume, Push-Pull Tone, and a 3-way switch, with Hipshot O-Ring knobs. A 2-way adjustable truss rod is accessed via a 5/32" allen nut, and black 1-ply binding finishes the body edge. Strings were set from the factory with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky .010–.046.

Owners sourcing replacement Floyd Rose 1500 Series components, stainless fret stock, or Grover Rotomatic tuner parts should verify fit against the original specifications above; a qualified guitar technician can assist with Floyd Rose setup, neck relief adjustment, and compound-radius fretwork.

From the people who own them

Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.

Put yours on the record.

The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.

What do you know about this one?

Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
