Description

Schecter positioned the Solo-II FR Apocalypse Red Reign at the upper tier of their Solo-II line, built for players requiring a hardtail-alternative platform with a floating tremolo system. The set-neck construction with Ultra Access joins a Swamp Ash body finished with an arched top and black single-ply binding, while the multi-ply Maple and Padauk neck — reinforced with carbon fiber rods — carries a 24.75" scale.

The ebony fretboard is dressed with 22 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets across a 12"-16" compound radius, with Roman Numeral inlays and glow-in-the-dark side dot markers for low-light orientation. A Floyd Rose 1500 Series bridge and matching locking nut handle tremolo duties, locked down in Satin Black hardware throughout. Both bridge and neck positions carry Schecter USA Apocalypse-VI™ pickups, routed through a Volume/Volume/Tone (push-pull)/3-way switching arrangement with metal knurled set-screw knobs. Grover Rotomatic 18:1 tuners complete the hardware complement. The neck profile is a Thin 'C', measuring .787" at the first fret and .866" at the twelfth.

Owners requiring Floyd Rose 1500 Series replacement parts — including saddle blocks, springs, or the locking nut — should confirm fit against the specific series designation noted above; a qualified guitar technician can assist with Floyd Rose setup, intonation, and spring tension adjustment.

From the people who own them

Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.

Put yours on the record.

The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.

What do you know about this one?

Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
