Schecter positioned the Sun Valley Super Shredder PT FR (item 1274) as a high-output, performance-oriented electric guitar within its Sun Valley Super Shredder line, finished in Metallic White with black hardware. The bolt-on construction and flat-top mahogany body carried a maple neck profiled in a Thin 'C' shape, designed for fast, low-effort fretting across the full length of the fingerboard.
The ebony fretboard runs 25.5" (648mm) and carries 22 X-Jumbo frets at a 14" (355mm) radius, with offset/reverse dot inlays. The nut is a Floyd Rose Special locking unit at 1.625" (41.3mm) width, paired with a Floyd Rose Special 'Hot Rod' Locking Tremolo — a Schecter-exclusive bridge variant. Pickup duties fall to a matched pair of EMG Retro Active Hot 70 humbuckers, controlled via a Volume/Volume/3-Way Switch layout with metal knurled knobs secured by set screws. The active circuit draws from a 9-volt clip-in battery compartment. Schecter-branded tuners and a 2-way adjustable truss rod with heel-access spoke wheel complete the hardware complement. The guitar ships strung with Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinky .009–.046 (set #2222).
