Schecter positioned the Damien Platinum-6 FR LH as a left-handed entry in the Damien Platinum series, built around an active pickup configuration and a Floyd Rose-equipped double-locking tremolo system. The model was constructed in South Korea with a set-neck joint featuring Schecter's Ultra Access heel, a three-piece maple neck, and a mahogany body with an arched top. Silver/Platinum multi-ply binding defined the aesthetic alongside Platinum Bat inlays on the rosewood fretboard.
The Damien Platinum-6 FR LH carried an EMG 81 at the bridge and an EMG 85 at the neck, both active humbuckers powered by a 9-volt clip-in battery compartment. The Floyd Rose Special bridge and locking nut work in tandem as a complete double-locking tremolo system; the nut is also Floyd Rose Special specification at 1.625" (41.3mm). The 25.5" (648mm) scale runs across 24 X-Jumbo frets on a rosewood board with a 14" (355mm) radius, and the Thin 'C' neck profile measures .787" (20mm) at the first fret and .866" (22mm) at the twelfth. Grover tuners and satin chrome hardware complete the specification. Controls consist of a volume control, tone control, and a 3-way pickup selector, with metal knurled knobs secured by set screws. The two-way adjustable truss rod takes a 5/32" (4mm) Allen key.
