Description

Powerwerks built the PW3X6BT as a self-contained, portable PA tower combining a three-channel mixer, amplifier, and loudspeaker cabinet into a single unit. It was positioned as an all-in-one solution for performers and DJs who required a compact system without a separate mixing desk or power amplifier.

The cabinet housed three 6-inch woofers, each rated at 8 ohms, alongside a 1-inch neodymium compression driver for high-frequency reproduction. The integrated three-channel mixer provided XLR balanced microphone inputs and 1/4-inch unbalanced line inputs on channels 1 and 2, with an auxiliary/Bluetooth channel accommodating a 3.5mm connection for non-Bluetooth sources. Bluetooth connectivity followed the 3.0 EDR specification with A2DP profile support. Phantom power at +15V was available on the mic inputs of channels 1 and 2. The onboard 24-bit DSP section offered four selectable digital effects — Room Reverb, Hall Reverb, Chorus+Reverb, and Delay+Reverb — with per-channel blend control. Channel EQ addressed frequencies at 4kHz and above for the high band and 800Hz and below for the low band. System outputs included a Subwoofer Out (20Hz–150Hz line level), a balanced TRS Monitor Out, and Powerlink In/Out jacks for daisy-chaining with compatible Powerwerks models. Two USB ports provided power and charging capability for external devices. The unit drew 80W nominal from a 120VAC/60Hz supply and delivered a 300-watt peak output. Cabinet dimensions were 9.5 inches deep by 8 inches wide by 28.75 inches tall, with a listed weight of 29 lbs. The nominal impedance specification notes the system was not designed for external speaker loads.

Owners seeking replacement drivers, connector service, or DSP calibration assistance should consult a qualified audio technician familiar with powered PA systems.

From the people who own them

Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.

Put yours on the record.

The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.

What do you know about this one?

Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
