Description

Powerwerks positioned the PW110SUB as a compact powered subwoofer, rated at 400 watts peak output. It was designed to extend low-frequency reproduction in small to mid-sized setups, pairing with satellite speakers through its built-in internal crossover.

The cabinet was a ported enclosure with rigid internal bracing, fitted with a heavy-duty 10-inch special-design speaker driven by a built-in power amplifier. Signal routing was handled via 1/4" unbalanced line-level input and output jacks, with a front-panel volume control. The enclosure featured a steel grille, protective corners, and a steel speaker stand mount. Power requirements were 120VAC/60Hz, drawing 80 watts nominal. Frequency response ran 35–150Hz through the system with the built-in crossover active. The cabinet measured 17¾" W × 11.75" H × 21⅝" D and weighed 45.25 lbs.

Owners sourcing replacement components — particularly the 10-inch driver or internal amplifier board — should consult a qualified audio technician, as compatibility will depend on the original driver's impedance and power handling specifications.

From the people who own them

Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.

Put yours on the record.

The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.

What do you know about this one?

Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
