Hagstrom produced the Tremar Viking Deluxe as a semi-hollow electric guitar positioned within the Viking family, distinguished from the standard Viking by the addition of the Hagstrom Tremar vibrato system and Deluxe-grade appointments. The model carried a Black Gloss finish and was built around Hagstrom's semi-hollow construction with a contoured top and set neck joint.
The neck employed Hagstrom's H-Expander™ truss rod and was fitted with a GraphTech Black Tusq XL nut at 43 mm width, a 15" radius fingerboard in Resinator™ material, pearl block inlays, and 22 medium jumbo frets across a 24.75" (628 mm) scale. Two Hagstrom HJ-50 humbuckers fed a straightforward control layout of two volume and two tone knobs, selected via a 3-way toggle switch. The bridge was a long-travel Tune-O-Matic unit paired with the Hagstrom Tremar vibrato, and tuning was handled by Hagstrom Design 18:1 ratio tuning keys. The guitar shipped strung with D'Addario EXP 110 (10–46). Compatible optional case and bag were listed as the C55 and E25 respectively.
Owners seeking setup work, vibrato adjustment, or period-correct replacement hardware for the Tremar system and Tune-O-Matic bridge should consult a qualified guitar technician, who can verify fit against the original specifications listed above.

What Stands Out
Keep In Mind
From the people who own them
Nothing in The Vault is for sale. These records exist so the instruments stay documented after the manufacturer moves on — and the most useful part of that record is what owners add to it.
Owner photos
Put yours on the record.
The catalog shot showed one finish, under one light, a long time ago. Yours has been played. Photos from owners are what the next person finds when they are trying to identify a part, match a finish, or work out whether the one they just bought is really what the seller said it was.
What do you know about this one?
Specs only go so far. What actually fits, what breaks first, what the factory got right and what everyone ends up changing — that lives with the people who own them, not in a datasheet. Post what you know and it stays on this page for whoever comes looking next.
