Description

This is a steel shim for the Floyd Rose SpeedLoader tremolo block. It sits between the block and the base plate to correct the block's seating position when the fit is not quite right — a block that sits proud or is otherwise out of alignment with the plate.

Before fitting a shim, measure your cavity clearance. The block length has to clear the body cavity: too long and the block bottoms out mid-dive; too short and the springs pull at the wrong angle. The mounting screw pattern also has to match your base plate exactly. A shim corrects seating, not sizing — if the block itself is wrong for the cavity, a shim will not fix that. This part is specific to the SpeedLoader system; it will not transfer to a standard Floyd Rose base plate.

The shim is steel. The existing listing references a set of three and manufacture in Germany — if quantity per listing matters to your job, send us a message and we will confirm what is in stock.

If you are not certain this is the right part for your guitar, send us the make, model and year and we will check it against what we have on the shelf.
