The spring claw sits in the rear cavity and does one job: it holds the tremolo springs under tension against the block. When the original claw strips, cracks, or loses its thread bite on the mounting screws, the bridge stops returning to pitch and no amount of spring adjustment fixes it. This is the direct replacement for that part in Floyd Rose Special series bridges — steel claw plus the two mounting screws, sold as a set of three pieces.

Before ordering, check that the existing screw holes in your body will line up with this claw. If the holes are already there, the spacing has to match exactly — there is no adjustment for that. Separately, if your bridge is sitting nose-down or tail-down and you have reached the end of the claw's travel in the cavity, the real problem is usually spring count, not the claw itself. Adding or removing a spring changes the pull range; swapping the claw does not.

Material is steel throughout — claw and screws. Steel fatigues and strips before it bends, so if your current claw has rounded screw holes or the body screws are spinning without biting, replacement is the right call rather than chasing the fit with a longer screw.
