These are the three steel screws that clamp the sustain block to the base plate on a Floyd Rose Special tremolo. If one has stripped, sheared, or gone missing, the block cannot seat correctly against the plate — the whole assembly loses rigidity and the bridge will not return to pitch reliably. This set replaces all three at once, which is the right call: if one has failed, the others have taken the same abuse.

Fit is decided by two things before you order. First, the block length has to clear your body cavity — too long and the block bottoms out mid-dive; too short and the spring angle is wrong from the start. Second, the screw pattern here is cut for the Floyd Rose Special base plate. If your bridge is a different Floyd Rose series, or a licensed copy, the thread pitch or head geometry may not match. Measure your cavity depth and confirm you are running a Special series base plate before buying.
