This is the Floyd Rose Special Series tremolo arm in a left-handed configuration, finished in satin gold. It replaces a worn, bent or missing arm on a Floyd Rose Special bridge. The shaft is stainless steel, 6mm in diameter and 80mm in length.
Arm fit is series-specific and this is where most mistakes happen. The shaft diameter, the collar thread or push-in fit, and the bend angle all vary between Floyd Rose generations. An arm from the Original series will not seat correctly in a Special series collar, and vice versa. On top of that, this arm is bent for left-handed players — the sweep runs the opposite direction to a right-handed arm, and the two are not interchangeable. Confirm you have a Floyd Rose Special bridge before ordering.
Stainless steel resists the corrosion that degrades the collar fit over time. A worn arm that wobbles in the collar rather than threading correctly is usually the collar, not the arm — worth checking both before you replace only one.
If you are not certain which Floyd Rose series is on your guitar, send us the make, model and year and we will point you to the right arm.
