This is the Floyd Rose Special Series tremolo arm for left-handed bridges, finished in satin chrome. It replaces a worn, bent or missing arm on a Special Series Floyd Rose — the arm that threads or seats into the bridge collar and gives you pitch control under your palm.

Arm fit is series-specific and this is the part that trips people up. The shaft diameter, collar thread or push-in fit, and the bend geometry all vary between Floyd Rose generations. This arm is cut for the Special Series. Drop it into an Original, a Pro or a 1000 Series bridge and it will not seat correctly. It is also bent for left-handed use — the sweep goes the other way from a right-handed arm, so the two are not interchangeable even if the shaft looks the same. Confirm your bridge is a Special Series before ordering.

The arm is stainless steel with a satin chrome finish. Shaft diameter is 6mm and overall length is 80mm. Stainless holds up better than the zinc alloy arms that ship on some economy bridges — the threads wear slower and the shaft resists the micro-bending that comes from repeated dive-bomb use.
