This is the Floyd Rose Special series tremolo arm in gold finish, left-handed version. Part number FRS2TALGP. It replaces a worn, bent, or missing arm on a Floyd Rose Special tremolo — the collar accepts the arm shaft and the arm itself gives you mechanical control over the block. Without a correctly fitting arm the system is unplayable.

Fit is series-specific and this one matters: the Special series uses its own shaft diameter, collar engagement, and bend geometry. A shaft from the Original series, the 1000 series, or any other Floyd Rose generation will not seat correctly in the Special's collar. Beyond that, this is a left-handed arm — the bend runs the opposite direction from a right-handed arm. If your guitar is a right-handed build, this arm is the wrong part. Measure your existing arm first: this one is 6mm diameter and 80mm in length. If those figures do not match your bridge collar, stop before ordering.

Shaft is stainless steel with a gold finish. Stainless holds up better than the chromed zinc arms that came on some earlier budget systems — the common failure mode on those is the plating lifting at the collar contact point and the shaft seizing or rattling loose.
