A left-handed tremolo arm for Floyd Rose Special series bridges, finished in satin black. It replaces a bent, stripped or lost arm on a Special-series unit without requiring any modification to the collar. The shaft is stainless steel, 6mm in diameter and 80mm in length.
Arm fit is series-specific and side-specific. The shaft diameter, the thread or push-in collar geometry, and the bend angle all vary between Floyd Rose generations — an arm from the Original series, the 1000 series or any other line will not seat correctly in a Special-series collar. Left-handed arms bend the opposite direction to right-handed ones and are not interchangeable. Before ordering, confirm your bridge is a Floyd Rose Special and that your guitar is a left-handed instrument.
The shaft is stainless steel. On heavily used bridges the collar itself can wear before the arm does — if the arm wobbles or will not lock at tension, inspect the collar first. A new arm will not fix a worn collar.
If you are not certain this is the correct arm for your guitar, send us the make, model and year and we will check it against the bridge fitted at the factory.
