This is the left-handed tremolo arm for Floyd Rose Special series bridges, finished in chrome over stainless steel. The arm threads or seats into the bridge collar and gives you control over the spring-loaded pitch shift. If your existing arm is stripped, bent, or missing, this is the direct replacement — provided your bridge is a Special series unit.
Fit is decided by series, not just brand. The shaft diameter, collar type, and bend geometry all vary across Floyd Rose generations. This arm is 6mm in diameter and bent for left-handed orientation — the opposite direction from a right-handed arm. Drop it into a non-Special series bridge and it will not seat correctly. Drop in a right-handed arm and the sweep goes the wrong way. Confirm you have a Special series bridge before ordering.
The arm is stainless steel with a chrome finish. Stainless holds up better than the zinc alloy used in some budget replacement arms, which can wear at the collar threads and develop play over time — the kind of slop that makes fine-tuning feel vague.
