Description

This is the replacement tremolo arm for Floyd Rose Special series bridges, finished in gold. It fits the collar on a Special series unit directly — no modification needed if you have the right bridge. The arm is stainless steel with a 6mm shaft diameter and 80mm length.

Arm fit is series-specific, and this is where most mistakes happen. The shaft diameter, the thread or push-in collar design, and the bend angle all vary between Floyd Rose generations. An arm from the Original series will not seat correctly in a Special series collar, and vice versa. Left-handed arms are bent in the opposite direction and are not interchangeable with right-handed ones — confirm both the series and the hand orientation before ordering.

Stainless steel holds its finish better than the chrome-plated zinc arms that ship on some budget units and shrug off the corrosion that comes from regular playing. The gold finish is matched to Special series hardware sold in gold.

If you are not certain which Floyd Rose series is in your guitar, send us the make, model and year and we will confirm the fit before you order.
