Description

This is the replacement tremolo arm for Floyd Rose Special series bridges. It seats in the arm collar on the Special series block and restores the whammy function when the original arm is lost, stripped at the tip or bent out of true. The arm is stainless steel with a black finish, 6mm shaft diameter and 80mm length.

Fit is series-specific and this is the part that matters most to get right. The shaft diameter, the thread or push-in collar geometry and the bend angle all differ between Floyd Rose generations — Original, Special, Pro, 1000 series and the rest are not interchangeable. A wrong-series arm will not seat correctly, will feel sloppy or will not lock at the right angle. Left-handed arms are bent the opposite direction and will not work on a right-handed bridge. Confirm your bridge is a Floyd Rose Special before ordering.

Stainless steel holds up to repeated torquing in the collar better than the pot-metal arms that turn up on some budget bridges. The black finish is matched to bridges sold in black, but bare stainless is visible at the tip end, so if finish consistency matters to you, check that the rest of your hardware is black.

If you are not certain which Floyd Rose series is in your guitar, send us the make, model and year and we will confirm the right arm before you order.
