Description

These are the string-lock saddles for the Floyd Rose Special series bridge. Each saddle clamps the string at the bridge end, working alongside the nut lock to keep the string captive at both termination points. When a saddle's clamping screw strips, the insert cracks, or the intonation slot wears through, the string won't lock and pitch stability goes with it. This set of six replaces the complete saddle row in one go.

Fit is series-specific and it matters. These saddles are cut for the Floyd Rose Special tremolo and do not interchange with Original, Pro, or other generations — even units that look the same at a glance. Beyond that, this is a full set of six for a reason: saddle height is what builds your fretboard radius across the strings. Drop a single new saddle into a row of worn ones and the radius goes uneven. Replace the row together.

Material is hardened steel with a black nickel finish. Hardened steel resists the deformation that kills the clamping surface over time — the finish matches the black nickel hardware found on Special series builds.

If you are not certain this is the right saddle for your bridge, send us the make, model and year of your guitar and we will confirm before you order.
