Description

This is the replacement tremolo arm for the Floyd Rose Original series — the bar that threads into the arm collar on the bridge plate. If your existing arm has stripped threads, won't tighten or stay at the angle you set, or is missing entirely, this is the part that restores full function. It is finished in gold to match gold-hardware Original series bridges. Material is stainless steel. Shaft diameter is 6mm, overall length is 80mm.

Fit is series-specific and the series is the first thing to confirm. The shaft diameter, the thread collar design, and the bend geometry all differ across Floyd Rose generations. An arm cut for the Original series will not seat correctly in a Special, 1000 series, or Rail Tail bridge — and vice versa. Handedness matters too: left-handed arms are bent the opposite direction and are not interchangeable with right-handed ones. Confirm you have a Floyd Rose Original series bridge, not just a Floyd Rose-style bridge, before ordering.

Stainless steel resists the corrosion and thread wear that kills arms on guitars that get heavy use. The most common failure mode on Original series arms is thread damage at the collar — either from over-tightening or from the arm being knocked sideways while locked. If the collar itself is damaged rather than the arm, this arm alone will not fix the problem.

If you are not certain which Floyd Rose series is in your guitar, send us the make, model and year and we will confirm the right part before you order.
